ila is a storyteller and strategic communicator who crafts messaging and weaves digital campaign and narrative strategies to strengthen power building for HEAL and its members.

Her previous experience includes research, digital comms and media relations for public health and gender equity projects, with a focus on improving health outcomes for BIPOC communities.

Currently, ila is also a full spectrum doula and herbalist in training dedicated to liberatory healing for birthing people of color.
