You'd think it would be easy to organize people regarding their best self interest, but experience has taught me that there is a skill set required. I'm looking forward to acquiring this skill set through the HEAL Food Alliance School of Political Leadership.

About Alexander

Alexander J. Wright, JD, is the General Manager and Founder of the African Heritage Food Co-Op (AHFC) in Buffalo, New York. The mission of AHFC is to create community ownership, combat food deserts and eliminate price gouging in the poorest areas of the city. He oversees the daily operations and is the visionary driving force behind the project. Mr. Wright has a BS in Business Management and a Law Degree from the University at Buffalo.

Before launching the Co-Op he managed Non Profit Organizations and operated his own business consulting firm.
