“SoPL is a way of deepening my commitment to solidarity models while gaining a better understanding of how the effects of the food system has been affected by the political, social and economic environment under which we live.”

Renee Keitt is a member of Chenchita’s Garden, Kelly Street Garden, Lydia’s Magic Garden and La Finca del Sur where she grows food. She is a graduate of Farm School NYC and a Certified Master Composter. She attended CEANYC’s (Cooperative Economic Alliance of New York) Leadership Intensive 2019. She is a board member of the New York City Community Garden Coalition (NYCCGC). She works as a food service worker.

She feeds people, grows food and saves seeds.
