SoPL is very important during this time because healthy food is becoming less available in low income communities. This is the time to mobilize people and empower them to fight for the food system they need and deserve. While participating in SoPL, we'll be able to discuss ideas and strategies to help better advocate for healthier local food.

Meet Zayetzy

Zayetzy Carrillo is the Outreach Program Manager for Mundo Gardens. With 8 years in environmental education, she specializes in composting, elementary grade environmental and social justice education, gardening, and community engagement. She is particularly proud of being able to teach and learn from our community.
