Co-op Developer and Storyteller 

SoPL is crucial for our team because it provides an anchor to keep us stable as we wade in this storm of deep uncertainty and fear. Through my participation in SoPL, I hope to fine tune skills in building an effective campaign strategy, including gathering funds and putting together a communications strategy, that supports our growth. Finally, learning from our facilitators and peers will allow us to build power and collective ownership for our BIPOC and Queer community in the South, specifically through collective stewardship of land and food.

Meet vane

vane loaiza is a Co-op Developer and Storyteller for Solar Community Farm. They joined the Solar Community Farm organizing committee out of a deep love for intentional collaboration; growing things, including plants and non-hierarchical organizations that'll help community become self-sufficient; and mutual relationship with the earth. vane has collaborated with unions and co-ops for many years as a digital storyteller, bringing workers' rights wins directly to your phone screen through videography, video editing, and social media management.
