Cooperative Extension Advisor
The San Diego region is filled with people who want to improve our food system. The SoPL program will provide community stakeholders and participants with the skills needed to effectively influence elected officials towards improving the political structures needed to increase the sustainability and resiliency of our food system, as well as actively engage residents towards action. As someone actively engaging community members to increase food justice in our region, I expect that participation in the program will provide us with tangible, actionable opportunities to continue uplifting BIPOC producers, workers, families and communities towards an equitable food system in our region.
