We are living in a moment of intersecting challenges - increasingly racist and exclusionary policy agendas, growing race and class tensions, deepening climate crisis, and an unstable food system to name a few. Building power and solidarity is critical to moving beyond these crises and creating systems that actually work for our community. SoPL will help our team to strengthen relationships, develop strategies to improve our local food system, and advance a food and farm justice movement in San Diego that celebrates and uplifts BIPOC communities.
