LeBroderick Woods was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta and is currently the Cofounding/Program Director of the Tougaloo Agri-Growth Initiative at the Reuben V. Anderson Center for Justice. He is a proud Tougaloo alumnus, educator, transformative food justice advocate and community organizer who desires to make equitable access to locally grown, fresh foods a way of life for all communities.

SoPL is pivotal during this particular political moment because it is the only way to combat current issues in food and farm justice. I hope to gain a deeper understanding of policy and how I can implement it into my daily work . I believe it will allow me to be in rooms and on Zoom meetings with individuals that are more versed in the topics than I, as well as, bounce ideas and troubleshoot some issues that I have that they may have overcome already.
